Since the beginning of time with Adam and Eve in the garden, God has allowed His children the opportunity to make choices. We could be creatures who don't have the reasoning capability much less the opportunity to make choices, but that wasn't God's plan in the beginning and it is not His plan for us today. But with the ability to make choices, comes the awesome responsibility, as Christians, to make the type of choices that are going to be pleasing to God. In Genesis, we read about Adam and Eve disappointing God with their choices, as well as the people of Noah's generation disappointing God to the point that He almost regretted creating mankind.

What choices are you faced with routinely, and more importantly, how do you come to the conclusion on what decision to make. Tyler Young will speak to us about this process and the fact that we CAN make Godly choices in an ungodly world. You have a CHOICE to make...choose wisely, because your life depends on it!

Pulpit Minister, Roanoke Church of Christ, Roanoke, Texas

We are honored this year to have Tyler Young, the Pulpit Minister from the Roanoke Church of Christ in Roanoke Texas as our keynote speaker throughout the 2010 Youth Rally. Tyler has been preaching the gospel for over 15 years while in New York, Mississippi and Texas. He proudly served in the Air Force.

In addition to his many pulpit responsibilities, he has preached on various mission trips to Jamaica and speaks frequently on youth and cultural issues. He has been a recent contributor to the Polishing the Pulpit Lecture Series, and writing articles for local brotherhood publications.

Personally, he enjoys reading and writing, especially on cultural issues. He is married to Kim and has three children, Jessica, Justin and Jamie.
